A referee is due to take charge of a match involving Watford for the first time after being appointed for the trip to Sheffield Wednesday on Wednesday.
The EFL website has announced that Tom Nield is set to be in the middle at Hillsborough when the Hornets will aim to continue their fine run of six unbeaten away games in the Championship.
Nield has officiated in 17 league and cup games so far this season, showing a total of 68 yellow cards and one red.
Mark Stevens and Robert Hyde are due to be the assistant referees for the 7.45pm kick-off, with Rebecca Welch on fourth official duties.
The Owls go into the game six points from safety at the bottom of the Championship, having lost their last two league fixtures.
