A referee is set to take charge of match involving Watford for the third time this season when they bid to end their four-game losing run in all competitions on Saturday.

The EFL website has announced that Andrew Kitchen has been appointed to officiate in the fixture against the Championship’s basement side Rotherham United.

It will be Kitchen’s second Hornets match in less than a month after he took charge of the 1-1 draw at Bristol City on January 20, having also been in the middle for the 1-0 victory at Swansea City in October.

Those two matches are among the 24 league and cup games Kitchen has refereed this season in which he has issued a total of 69 yellow cards and one red.

Daniel Leach and Alistair Nelson are due to be the assistant referees, with Scott Oldham the fourth official.

The Millers were beaten 5-0 when the two sides first met at Vicarage Road in November and they go into the fixture seven points adrift at the bottom of the table and without a win in their last seven league outings.
