The anniversaries of two landmark moments in the history of Watford Football Club are coming up – and the Watford Observer wants to hear from you as we mark them both.

On May 19 it will be 40 years since Watford first played at Wembley Stadium when they lost 2-0 to Everton in the 1984 FA Cup Final.

Then, on May 31, it will be 25 years to the day since the Hornets won for the first time at the famous old stadium, when goals from Nick Wright and Allan Smart saw them beat Bolton Wanderers in the 1999 Championship Play-Off Final under Graham Taylor, thus securing promotion to the Premier League for the first time.

They were both highly memorable days for the club and its fans, and so there is every likelihood that readers will have attended one or both games.

As the Watford Observer looks to mark the two dates in a fitting style, we would welcome readers to take part.
