A minute's applause will be held at Vicarage Road tonight to remember Watford supporter Amelia Aplin, who tragically died aged 15 while playing for Oxford United academy earlier this month.
Those present in WD18 for Watford's game against Wrexham are invited to applaud on 15 minutes to celebrate the life of Amelia, a young goalkeeper.
Amelia's love for the Hornets was passed on by her dad, Peter, a season-ticket holder of nearly 30 years, and club chairman Scott Duxbury confirmed the Hornets had been in touch to offer support to the family.
Duxbury said: "Football was put into its true perspective when we tragically lost one of our own.
"Amelia was part of the Watford family, and I was deeply saddened to hear of her passing at such a young age.
Tonight we will observe an applause on 15 minutes, to celebrate the life of young Watford fan Amelia Aplin, who tragically died aged just 15 while playing a match for Oxford United’s academy.

"She inherited her love of the club from her father, Peter, and I can only imagine the pain the family must be feeling.
