There were a couple of early wins in early season friendlies for Hemel, then it was straight into the big time with a 10am first round Herts T20 group match away against Premier division Bishops Stortford - and losing the toss.
Hemel were soon 6 - 3 with the first three batsmen back in the pavilion.

Soon it was 41 - 6 and, despite 24* from Max Clark and 21 from Charlie Hoskins, Hemel made it to just 85 - 7 from their 20 overs.
The two opening bowlers opened the batting for Stortford and rapidly made it to 46 - 1 before Mark Brazier took the first wicket.
Brett Penny took another couple of wickets but Stortford proceeded to hit off the runs scoring 88 - 3 in just 11.4 overs. Hemel were out.
