All Hemel Hempstead Cricket Club weekend match results

 Thanks to the fixture selections for the Championship 2 of Hemel's first 3 games are away to both the sides relegated from the Premier League last year.

Both with the same result showing Hemel have some work to do. At least they did get a win on weekend 2 at home to Shenley Village. Weekend 3 and batting first against North Mymms Hemel were dismissed for 103 in 33.3 overs.  Ollie West top scored with 31 (6X4s) from 31 balls, a bit down from his 2 previous centuries. Only 3 other batsmen made it to double figures with best being young Lucas Bertin at no. 10 hitting 16 (1X4, 1X6) from 21 balls.

At least Hemel made Mymms fight for their victory as they made it to 105 - 6 from 37.1 overs. None of their batsmen dominated and best bowling returns for Hemel were 2 - 25 for Ed Pike and 2 - 26 for Parth Mehta, both from their 10 overs.

 HHTCC 2nd XI - Div. 3A vs Rickmansworth 1st XI (H)

 Another team skittling as Hemel were dismissed for 105 from 30 overs with only 2 players making it to double figures. Neil Morgan opened and scored 60 (10X4, 1X6) from 73 balls by far and away the highest score for all Hemel sides over the day and 60% of their score in this game. The other double figure scorer was Charlie Hoskins with 17 (4X4).

Couple of quick wickets for Tyler James saw Ricky at 11 - 2 but that was as good as it got as they saw it to 109 - 3 from 24 overs. Ricky had come down from Div. 2B last year so so small excuse.

 HHTCC 3rd XI - Div. 5B vs Rickmansworth 2nd XI (A)

 Promotion up into Div. 5B brings whole lot of difficulties for Hemel III, here against an established mid table side such as Ricky 2nds. They won the toss and batted and Hemel bowled them out for 163 in 46.2 overs. The men in the wickets were Farhan Sadiq with 4 - 38 from his 10 overs and Miles Barnard with 3 - 23 from 7.

The extra experience in Ricky came through as they had an opening bowler Tom Beveridge who ran through the Hemel side returning figures of 6 - 19 from 8 overs. At one stage Hemel were 21 - 6 so did well to get to three figures.  Only 2 double figure scorers in Mile Barnard 24 (3X4) from 54 balls and Adam Moulster 45 (6X4) from 52 balls batting at 7 and 8. THey put on 81 for the 7th wicket to get Hemel up to the three figures.

 HHTCC 4th XI - Div. 8 West vs Luton Town & Indians 3rd XI (H)

 Another bat first and be dismissed for little over an hundred. Hemel made 113 from 37 overs with just 3 double figure scorers in Tony Linfoot (12), Marlon Stewart (27) and Jonah Lewis (35). Luton had an opening bowler Yashkumar Devmurari who turned in figures of 5 - 19 from his 8 overs and took out the Hemel top order.

Luton opening pair put on 60 for their first wicket and they made it to 114 - 4 from 18.2 overs to see Hemel sides to their 4th defeat of the weekend.  Jemion Jacob did return 3 - 39 in all that as a positive note.
