Nestory Irankunda became the third Watford player to ever score at a World Cup after netting Australia's opener in a 2-0 win over Türkiye on Sunday morning.
Irankunda follows Gerry Armstrong in 1982 and Ismaila Sarr in 2022 by netting on the world's biggest stage, setting up a win that could well see the Socceroos into the knock-out stages.
The strike showed Irankunda at his best too, the forward accelerating down the left, bursting inside a defender into the box and slotting into the corner.

In doing so, he also became Australia's youngest World Cup goalscorer.
Connor Metcalfe struck a second after half-time, putting Tony Popovic's side top of Group D and within touching distance of the last 32.
It is generally considered that three points gives teams an excellent chance of qualification, with one more point - or even keeping subsequent defeats to a minimum - likely to take them through.
