Matt Parkins, unlucky in his first spell, came on and broke the partnership of Zahid Ali Khan and Ali, who put on 60, by wheedling out Ali for 28.
Ollie Sills removed Hamza Khan, caught for 2, followed by Parkins taking two more wickets, Asfand for 2 and Ali Khan for 48, giving him 3/44. The final wicket went to Sills, bowling Eshan for 1 and Abbots needing 225 to win.
Luke Mortimore and Michael Burgess opened the batting but were in trouble when Burgess was given LBW for 8. Parkins struck some lovely balls only to be also given LBW for 22.
Pujan Vyas took his time to get going, losing Mortimore, bowled for 9, and Bradley Finch for a first-ball duck.
Jack Read steadied the ship with a 40-run partnership only to end up caught for 30.
