RICHARD HILL has been given another week to shake off the hamstring injury that has so far limited his involvement in England's World Cup campaign.

The 30-year-old Saracens flanker, badly missed in the far from convincing win over Samoa, has not played since he limped off after 50 minutes of the 84-6 win against Georgia, but he is being earmarked for a return in the Quarter-Final tie against Wales on next week.

“We thought he was going to be fit but it’s now 17 days since he had a hamstring twinge against Georgia. He’s not quite there and we just don’t want to risk him,” said Clive Woodward, England's head coach.
