NORTH Watford's Chris Yeomans made his Tae Kwon-Do senior debut on Sunday at the Impact International at Haywards Heath in Sussex and performed better than anybody could have hoped for to claim bronze. In his first bout, Yeomans was drawn against the current under-54kg world champion from Canada and fought admirably before going down to defeat.
He won his second bout to keep himself in contention and then came from off the floor to beat a Polish opponent in the last eight. In the Semi-Final, Yeomans came across another world champion, this time in the under-64kg category, and again fought well but lost.
