Watford goalkeeper Scott Loach has been called up to the full England squad for tonight's game with France after Manchester City’s Joe Hart pulled out of the squad with a back injury.

England’s number one Hart suffered a back injury during training yesterday and has now returned to his club, which prompted manager Fabio Capello to promote Loach from the Under-21s.

Birmingham City’s Ben Foster is now expected to start ahead of West Ham United goalkeeper Rob Green.

Loach played 45 minutes for the Under-21s last night before coming off at half time in the 2-0 defeat to Germany
