Hornets goalkeeper Scott Loach will complete his transfer to Ipswich Town today in a move which the Watford Observer understands is worth less than £200,000.
Loach completed his medical last night and is set to join the club he supported as a boy, and played for as a youngster.
Like most deals, the transfer fee is likely to be 'undisclosed' but we understand the sum will be less than £200,000.
The 24-year-old joined Watford in 2006 and made 163 appearances for the club.
Watford pulled out of a deal to sign Tom Heaton following the club's takeover and Loach's replacement is expected to be either Carlo Cudicini or Manuel Almunia.
