Mark Studdart and Ciaran Weldon took on the notorious Wycombe Half Marathon on Sunday as both ran well on a demanding course.
The race features a 225ft climb straight from the start of the race but the duo ran well over an undulating route.
Studdart was the first of the pair home in a time of 1.35.33 while Weldon went round in 1.43.26.
James Gamble and Karen Smith were in action on Saturday as they took in the St Albans park run event.
Gamble stopped the clock in 21.02 while Smith, paced by her father, ran well to take third place in her age group in a time of 30.15.
The previous weekend saw Phillippa Shefras and Jasmin Walpole compete at London’s British Grand Prix.
Both recorded personal bests, with Shefras (1.03.27) first of the two to cross the line while Walpole was home in 1.04.00.
