Two Watford Under-23 players have extended their contracts at Vicarage Road while two Under-18 youngsters have signed their first professional deals, the Hornets have announced.
Central defender Joy Mukena and winger Randell Williams have extended their contracts until June 2019 but seven of their Under-23 teammates – Nathan Gartside, Dennon Lewis, Louis Rogers, Max Ryan, David Sesay, Connor Stevens and Carl Stewart – will leave Watford at the end of this season.
One-year professional deals have been offered to Under-18 pair Tom Leighton and Harry Forster, with the Hornets having an additional one-year option.
Like the Under-23s, several second-year scholars will leave Vicarage Road this summer. These are Jubril Adedeji, Jesus Cruz Cabrera, Bradley Empson, Ben Jones and Jamie Lacey.
