A reaction was required after the 4-0 defeat against Bournemouth at Vicarage Road before the international break and Watford delivered one in impressive fashion to win 2-0 at Wolverhampton Wanderers and secure a first Premier League victory in five outings.
A quick-fire first-half double from Etienne Capoue and Roberto Pereyra stunned the previously in-form home side as the Hornets went on to dominate the remainder of the opening 45 minutes with an excellent performance.
Javi Gracia's men were unable to reach those some attacking heights after the break, but they reamined composed and controlled as a strong team defensive display ensured the three points would be heading back down the M6 and M1.
Here are a selection of images from Watford's second away win of the campaign for you to enjoy.
