Steph Curry returned to the court after a two-game absence as the Golden State Warriors nearly gave up a lead to beat the Toronto Raptors 127-125.
The Warriors held a 27-point lead at half-time but Toronto struck back after the interval – and outscored the visitors 36-19 in the fourth.
Curry – who had 24 on the night – scored two free throws with two seconds left on the clock, as a Fred VanVleet jumper for the Raptors as time expired saw the game end 127-125.
DeMar DeRozan top scored for the Raptors with 42.
The Los Angeles Lakers needed overtime to beat the Dallas Mavericks 107-101, while the Washington Wizards also took the Brooklyn Nets into an extra period and won 119-113.
Russell Westbrook had 25 points and 10 rebounds as his Oklahoma City Thunder side beat the Charlotte Hornets 101-91, while the Los Angeles Clippers outplayed the Sacramento Kings 126-105.
Elsewhere, the San Antonio Spurs saw off the Denver Nuggets 112-80 and the Chicago Bulls edged a tight game against the Detroit Pistons 107-105.
