Hertfordshire Constabulary are trying to find out if a stolen spearhead belongs to someone in the county.
The spear was recovered from a stolen Audi A3 taken during a burglary in South Drive, Ruislip on January 2.
Police believe the owners may live in Hertfordshire
The car was dumped in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire and was recovered with the spear on January 18. The spear may have been taken during a separate incident to the burglary.
Detective Constable James Simpson said: “This spear, which is similar to an African Massai ceremonial spear, may have been taken from somewhere in Hertfordshire.
