Herts Police have shared a warning after a Bentley was stolen amid a series of similar incidents overnight.
The stolen car was driven away from Old Mill Road in Hunton Bridge sometime between 7.30am and 7.50am yesterday (August 14).
Police are linking the theft to four attempts to steal high-value keyless vehicles from addresses in Rickmansworth, Loudwater, and Chorleywood between 3.20am and 6.15am that day.
Inspector Ben Harper, who leads the Three Rivers Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Investigators have already identified a series of similar incidents which happened across the district overnight, and we’re working to gather as much information as possible as we explore all avenues of enquiry.”
He assured the public that proactive patrols are underway but urged those who own a high-value keyless car in the area to carry out an “urgent review” of its security.

“In four out of five incidents overnight, the thieves were thankfully unsuccessful in their attempts to steal,” he added.
“We believe this is largely due to the security measures taken by the victims to protect their vehicles, so it just shows how important these steps are.”
The force are appealing for information or CCTV footage from the public that could help them investigate, including anyone who saw the Bentley being driven at the time.
