A back garden pub first built for two friends whose children have disabilities has been extended to seat more than 30.
Martin Tennant, 60, built Lucy’s Bar, named after his daughter who has down syndrome, so he could go for a pint with his friends while they looked after their kids.
Despite Lucy, 23, having grown up the bar is still hosting lots of people and 11 years later has been extended to seat more than 30.
The builder and decorator said: “Me and my mate, we have disabled children, if we went out for a pint it would be a nightmare. So, I built the pub in my garden.
“People think it’s just a shed at first but it’s a proper pub.”
