An ordinary looking alleyway holds a 4.9-star rating after being listed as a “tourist attraction” on Google Maps due to TikTok fame.

'The Famous Alleyway', between High Street and Northway in Rickmansworth, holds its rating from 32 reviews with visitors praising the “outstanding landscaping and décor” and calling it “the Rolls Royce of alleyways”, “magical”, and “a quintessential South West Herts alleyway”.

When viewing the town on Google Maps it pops-up as a "tourist attraction".

All this might prompt the question ‘why is it famous?’. The answer is that TikTok sensation ALLEYWAY KING built a massive audience by live streaming the comings and goings from a window.

Starting last year, the stream ranged from chilled-out music played over very little happening to creative visits including someone dressed as a spooky clown, a Punch and Judy show, and a giant poppy needing CPR.

In one TikTok viewed 2.7 million times, TikToker ollietylerr even uses the Watford Observer to find where the tourist attraction is and visits.
