A pub has said it will offer a free shot to customers every time England scores during the FIFA World Cup Final.

The Partridge pub in St George’s Drive, Carpenders Park, Watford, made the announcement after England beat Australia 3-1 on Wednesday.

In the post, the pub said: “Our girls are in the final. Sunday 20th August. 11am KO. England v Spain. Join us for the women’s world cup final.

“We will be serving hot rolls and baguettes, roast potatoes and cheese crackers and pickles!

“Free shot every time we score.”

It will be the first time the England women’s team has reached a world cup final.

England has reached the quarterfinals three times and the semi-finals twice.

The historic match will also be shown in Atria Watford’s big screen.

Simon Plumb, centre manager, said: “We are thrilled to bring the community together under our atrium roof to witness the pinnacle of football competition – the World Cup final.
