A description has been released as police appealed for information on a burglary.

Herts Police have asked for witnesses and information today (August 18) after a break-in at JJ Dry Cleaners in Bushey Hall Road, on August 9.

The burglar forced entry at around 1.45am and stole items before fleeing the scene, police said.

When the victim returned the next morning, they discovered the window smashed and the business ransacked.

A mobile phone was stolen and cash was taken from the till.

PC Abegael Houlihan said: “I’d like to hear from anyone who witnessed this burglary or spotted anything suspicious occurring in the area around the time of the incident.

“We are looking to speak to a male of slim build, who was wearing a black coat, black jogging bottoms and a black hoodie. He was also wearing a black Nike backpack at the time of the incident.
