The band’s lead singer, Tom, 20, said: “It was an absolute pleasure for our first festival appearance to be at Pub in The Park.

“Our set went down a treat, and it was great to get people who aren’t our typical audience boogieing along to our tunes.

“We would like to give our sincerest thanks to the Pub in The Park team for taking amazing care of us, and we can’t wait to play more festivals in the future.”

All four members met when they studied music performance at West Herts College’s Watford campus in 2020.

BEAF. won the festival slot after going up against 64 other acts in the St Albans Battle of the Bands competition. After a series of rounds, they won at The Horn in St Albans, on August 17.
