A BBC production is carrying out filming at a large house in the local area.

Three Rivers District Council has confirmed that it is aware of the production crews that were spotted at a distinctive property in its area by locals this morning (September 27).

It added that the BBC was granted permission from a homeowner in Chorleywood Road to film at their property.

A large modern house near The Royal Masonic School for Girls, Rickmansworth, is being used according to passers-by who saw the filming taking place.

It is not yet clear what the broadcaster is filming at the home. It has been contacted for more information. Update to follow.

The BBC has already set up in the local area more than once this month. It recently filmed scenes for an advert at the local events and sports venue The Metropolitan Bushey, on September 21 and 22.

Ahead of the advert being filmed, a call had gone out for male adult amateur football players who were willing to appear as paid extras.

Earlier in the month, on September 6, Taylor Made Tattoos, in Watford Road, Croxley Green, became a set for the second series of BBC sitcom Here We Go.

Katherine Parkinson was in attendance to film scenes.
