One of Cassiobury Park’s cafés is set to close next week ahead of its replacement launching in the spring.
Daisy’s in the Park will shut on Monday (December 4), but Watford Borough Council has already lined up EMA Catering as its replacement, a London-based festival and public event catering company.
It will also provide refreshments at the splash pools.

EMA director Emine Mani said: “We are thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of our newest venture in Cassiobury Park.
“We are aware of how important the park is to the people of Watford. We are so excited about providing delicious food alongside a strong inclusive community vibe.”
Plans for a spring 2024 launch are apparently underway, but until then EMA will offer a small refreshment trailer “shortly”.
Daisy’s in the Park’s owners also own Café in the Park, which opened a location in Cassiobury Park’s Tea Pavilion (formerly Cha Café) earlier this year.
Watford mayor Peter Taylor said: “Welcoming and good quality places to eat and drink are an important part of people’s enjoyment of Cassiobury, and with EMA’s new offer joining the Café in the Park in the Tea Pavilion, from next spring there will be plenty of choice for people when they visit.”
