A business has launched a new type of shop in the Harlequin with hands-on access to the latest tech.
EE’s store inside the Watford High Street shopping centre was re-opened as an “EE Experience Local Store” on Friday (October 24), which means it allows shoppers to “work, learn, and play” with devices in store.

This includes a gaming chair set up with a board keeping track of high scores, tables and chairs to use when spending time in the store, and a sofas to trial the brand’s flexible TV packages.

Sharing news of the Watford re-launch, retail director Asif Aziz said: “Since we launched our revamped retail strategy just over two years ago, our mission has been to reinvigorate brick-and-mortar retail, bringing new and exciting experiences to the UK high street.

The shop also offers bookable online safety sessions for families, delivering guidance on keeping kids safe when using the internet in collaboration with Internet Matters.
