The opening date for a new supermarket around 30 minutes from Watford has been confirmed.
Amersham’s London Road West Aldi branch, which could be convenient for those living in the Chorleywood area, will launch at 8am on Thursday, February 26.
It will be run by store manager Ben Cope alongside a team of 36 staff members.
On opening day, they will be joined by Paris 2024 Olympic bronze medallist Lauren Irwin to celebrate the occasion and cut the ribbon.
The rower will also hand out complimentary bags of fresh fruit and vegetables to the first 30 customers in the queue.
