A leading Hertfordshire chef and 14 restaurants have been nominated for the British Kebab Awards.
The awards, set up by entrepreneur Ibrahim Dogus, celebrate local eateries serving the dish across the country with 22 categories from best fine dining restaurant to kebab van of the year.
Locations such as VU Lounge in Bushey have previously been nominated but this time the Watford area has failed to crack the semi-finalist list published last night.
However, several spots nearby are still in the running.
