This week, a new limited edition burger arrived at a popular Watford restaurant. But is it any good?

Honest Burgers' truffle burger features a beef patty with bacon, white truffle mayonnaise and truffled shoestring fries.

It will only be available at the town centre restaurant until November 28, so we decided to see if it was worth the hype.

Firstly, a mention must go to Honest Burgers staff, who were extremely welcoming and ensured that every query was answered in full.

After being served in the comfortable, inviting surroundings of the former Post Office in Market Street, the unique flavours and textures of the burger could be appreciated.

A relatively rare combination, the burger combined the familiar flavours of beef and bacon with the more unusual flavour of truffle.

This combination worked, with Honest Burgers' tasty rosemary salted chips adding to the dish.

One criticism would be that - despite ordering the burger to be prepared as medium-to-well done - the beef was still considerably red in the middle.

This is common in many high-end restaurants, but customers expecting a burger that is brown all the way through may be a little surprised.

Another criticism would be that the leaflets placed on the tables looked well-used and in need of replacing.

Despite this, overall it was a very pleasant experience with a truly flavoursome and unique burger.
