Thousands of honey bees that started building a nest on a house in north Watford have been recovered by bee keepers.
The swarm, which experts think was a whole hive worth of honey bees, took more than four hours to collect this afternoon by keepers from the Honey Bee Trust.
The nest was so high a cherry picker had to be found to enable its safe collection.
The bees will be re-homed by the Honey Bee Trust to ensure their survival.
Kasia said: "Lots of people took pictures and were amazed by the size. It was a difficult job as they were so high up but they succeeded."
