There are currently delays for those travelling out of Watford following emergency water works.
The A412 St Albans Rd has been experiencing long delays since around 5:45PM.
The stretch of road towards Dome Roundabout has seen the heaviest congestion.

Those travelling northwards out of Watford may want to avoid St Albans Road especially along this stretch.
Hertfordshire County Council Highways reported delays of around 25 minutes for some drivers, however traffic appears to be beginning to ease.
There are also currently roadworks along St Albans Road which may further contribute to the traffic.
