A man has been given a suspended sentence after admitting to six charges including cocaine possession and dangerous driving.

Kelvin Hoxha, who lives in Chalk Hills, Watford, admitted to possessing two wraps of cocaine and 10 grams of cannabis in Watford, on May 12, when he appeared in Northampton Magistrates’ Court on July 6.

The 20-year-old also admitted to dangerous driving in a black Honda Civic, driving without a licence or insurance, and failing to stop the car when police pursued him in Northampton, on April 4.

Hoxha was given a sentence of 12 weeks in prison suspended for 12 months and required to pay three fines totalling £328.

He was also disqualified from holding a driving licence for two years and his driving record was endorsed.

Hoxha is required to comply with supervision and carry out 200 hours of unpaid work within the next year.

He was also charged with failing to surrender to court while released on bail, but this offence was withdrawn.
