A man has been sent for trial in crown court over an alleged attack inflicting "bodily harm" and using a "wet fire" spray.
William Owen, 29, will appear in Cambridge Crown Court on November 3 after being sent for trial by Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on October 6.
Owen, of Longman Court Stationers Place, in Hemel Hempstead, is accused of assaulting a man and causing him “actual bodily harm” as well as “administering poison or a noxious thing with intent to injure, aggrieve, or annoy” according to court papers.

Both charges are for alleged attacks on the same man in Watford on November 7, 2021.
He is alleged to have used Pelargonic Acid Vanillylamide (PAVA) a synthetic pepper spray used by police officers because it is easier to target than conventional pepper spray and can be used from a distance of up to 15 feet.
Lincolnshire Police describe the spray as “wet fire” due to the feeling when it comes in contact with a person’s eyes.
Update
He denied the charges in Cambridge Crown Court and another appearance is due from Febuary 20.
