A Watford five-year-old with down syndrome is “excited” to have his hair cut to make wigs and support charity.
The Orchard Primary School student, Dexter, received therapy support and was part of a community at Watford charity Playskill for four years and now he has already raised £450 to give back.
He will also be helping Little Princess Trust provide wigs to children who lose their hair through cancer.

His mum, Zoe Hosier, 30, said Dexter doesn’t understand the full importance of the haircut but “he’s excited because he knows it’s going to help Playskill”.
She added: “They provide invaluable support and a community where parents can meet others who truly understand.”
The hair cut will be at Master Cut in Courtlands Drive, on November 19.
