“The armed forces community make tremendous sacrifices and I am always proud to support their work.

“Wearing a poppy really shows the armed forces community, both past and present that we are grateful for their service to our country.

“It represents all those who lost their lives on active service, from the beginning of the First World War right up to present day.

“I hope everyone can support the Poppy Appeal, any donation that you can make really does help the cause.”

Poppy Appeal volunteers are the face of RBL during the Poppy Appeal and help collect donations whilst distributing thousands of poppies across the country.

Each year thousands of volunteers can be found on high streets, train stations and local supermarkets across the country as they help to raise vital funds.
