Images of more than 200 items of jewellery recovered after burglaries have been released in a bid to track the owners.

The photos shared by Hertfordshire Constabulary show rings, necklaces, watches, earrings, brooches and cufflinks discovered as part of police investigations into break-ins earlier this month.

Cambridgeshire Constabulary released a gallery of images online for the public to view.

Detective Inspector Juliet Heald said: “We have recovered a significant amount of jewellery which we suspect has been stolen from homes across Cambridgeshire and beyond.

“We’re keen to reunite these items with their rightful owners. Many of the items will likely hold significant sentimental value to their owners.”
