A charitable organisation has confirmed the route for its Santa float this year.

Bushey and Oxhey Ladies Circle and Round Table has said it is aiming to supply 180 food hampers for the local community before Christmas, with help from donations to the float.

The group said: “After the previous year being affected by Covid, last year we surpassed all our expectations and we are hoping to match or beat that this year.

“We will be taking cash donations so please keep your eyes and ears open so you don’t miss us.”

The route for 2022 is as follows:

Tuesday December 6th – Brookdene Avenue, Raglan Gardens, Oaklands Avenue, Hilcroft Crescent.

Wednesday December 7th – Harvest Road, Cornfield, Farm Way, Great Grove, Purlings Road, Moatfield Road, Palmer Avenue, Bridgewater Way, Milner Court, Coldharbour Lane, King George Avenue, Reddings Avenue and Harcourt Road

Thursday December 8th – Oxhey Road, Kingsfield Road, Cedar Road, Eastbury Road, Woodwaye, Meadow Bank, The Pastures, Green Lane, Anthony Close

Monday December 12th – Glencoe Road, Herkomer Road, Rudolf Road, Falconer Road, Avenue Rise, Finch Lane, Homefield Road, Bournehall Avenue, Nightingale Road, Bourne Road, Bournehall Lane, Bournehall Road, Koh-I-Noor, Clapgate Road, Melbourne Road.

Tuesday December 13th – Park Avenue, Mead Way, Scottswood Road, Bushey Mill Lane, Mill Way, Duncan Way, Friars Way, Robin Hood Drive, Mill Brook and Highwood Avenue

Tuesday December 20th – School Lane, Roseberry Lane, Victoria Road, Merry Hill Road, Merry Hill Mount, Wren Crescent, Catsey Lane, Somers Way, Ashfield Avenue, Highland Drive and Normansfield Close.

The charitable organisation added that all dates and routes are subject to change.
