A plan to redevelop shops into flats in Bushey High Street has been given the green light.
The planning application for seven self-contained flats over three storeys in Bushey High Street was granted permission by Hertsmere Borough Council on Monday (December 5) after the council received it in January this year.
The approval included conditions such as establishing plans to minimise noise and contamination disturbance for neighbours.

Plans include three one-bed, three two-bed, and one three-bed flats and a commercial floorspace on the ground floor.
The site, near the corner of High Street and Koh-I-Noor Avenue, is currently a part single and part two-storey building used for The Blue Check restaurant, Michael’s Fish and Grill, and Bar Pizzeria.
It was initially proposed to include nine residential flats with additional flats on the ground floor.
This was “deemed unacceptable” by the council due to being “out of character” and “likely to suffer from unacceptable noise levels and poor privacy”.
