A Croxley Green postcode is among the many streets to have won in the Postcode Lottery in December.

People in these six roads in Hertfordshire have recieved £1,000 or more in the People's Postcode Lottery during the month.

Rugby Way, Croxley Green - WD3 3PD

This postcode won £1,000 on December 27 having never won more than £10 before.

Ticket holders had previously picked up a tenner on 21 occasions, most recently in June, but they will be much happier with the more recent result.

The street was the only WD postcode to get a big win in December.

Holywell Hill, St Albans - AL1 1DT

The first win of any kind for this town centre postcode landed any ticketholders a £1,000 boost on December 15.

Although since it is mostly shops there might not be too many actual recipients.

Hillcrest, Hatfield - AL10 8HW

Moving a little further afield, this Hatfield postcode bagged £1,000 after 11 £10 prizes in the past five years, on December 10.

Oaklea, Welwyn - AL6 0PU

Towards the end of the month, on December 28, lucky Welwyn Garden City residents won £1,000 after seven previous prizes of vouchers, £10, and £20.

Lucern Close, Cheshunt – EN7 6UU

Double winners in December, residents of Lucern Close will have been most interested in the December 28 win, when they picked up £1,000.

After that £10 the next day was probably an afterthought.

Luton White Hill, Offley – SG5 3DN

Near the Herts border with Bedfordshire, Offley ticket holders in this postcode picked up £1,000 on December 11 and then an extra tenner on December 15.
