Police have confirmed no one was seriously injured after a three-vehicle crash in a High Street.

A picture, seen by the Watford Observer, of fire crews working to release a person from an overturned car in Kings Langley High Street emerged on Friday morning (April 7).

Locals shared their concern for the people involved but Hertfordshire Constabulary has now confirmed that no serious injuries were sustained in the crash, reported to them at 8.21pm on Thursday (April 6).

The force added that three vehicles were involved and two required recovery. In the image one is on its side outside Dolly’s Hair and Nail Salon and another has a dent in the front a couple of metres away from it.

Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue said its crews released one person from a car and made the scene safe.

The High Street was closed and then reopened by 11pm.

The East of England Ambulance service also attended.
