With the King’s coronation falling on Saturday, we have been given a bank holiday during the week.
But it means that the bin collections on Monday, May 8 are to change.
Here are the changes across Watford, Hertsmere and Three Rivers next week.
Watford
Usual bin collection day – revised bin collection day
Monday, May 8 – Tuesday, May 9
Tuesday, May 9 – Wednesday, May 10
Wednesday, May 10 – Thursday, May 11
Thursday, May 11 – Friday, May 12
Friday, May 12 – Saturday, May 13

Three Rivers and Hertsmere bin collections
According to the councils’ timetables, collections will not take place on Monday, May 8 but rather the next day.
In the Three Rivers the refuse (green bin), recycling bin (black bin with green lid) and the food waster (silver pod) will be collected from May 9 to May 13.
In Hertsmere, from May 9 to May 14 recycling waste will be collected in the green and brown bin.
