A diversion that will lead to the extra use of the A41 will be introduced for two days when a section of road is closed for works.

Part of Garston Lane and The Gossamers in Garston will shut this weekend (July 8 and 9) while Leap Electricity Networks carries out survey works.

The section between Falcon Way north westwards and south westwards to its junction with Codicote Drive, a distance of approximately 137 metres, will be closed.

Cars and buses will be expected to use the A412, A41, Westlea Avenue, Meriden Way and York Way instead.

A signed route will also be provided for drivers.

Work is also expected to begin on July 9 in Garston Lane when Leap Electricity will carry out new service connection work.

It is expected to last until July 26 and multi-way traffic lights are to be introduced.
