A planning application has been submitted to extend a luxury car showroom.
Aston Martin in Leyhill Road, Bovingdon, wants to extend its external floor area by 369m2.
If approved, the new workshop/showroom will have a minimum internal height of 5.2m, according to the application submitted on August 9.
For the extension to be carried out, the proposal involves the agreed purchase of part of the adjacent Bovingdon Brickworks site from E H Smith Ltd, on whom notice will be served.

The Design and Access Statement submitted to Dacorum Borough Council has said the extension “should create three to five new jobs”.
Aston Marton has said the extension is needed for the company to provide services for future electric vehicles and hydrogen powered models “that will almost certainly will require separated work areas”.
It added that more storage is also needed for its Heritage and New Era cars.
The Bovingdon site was appointed as one of 12 worldwide Aston Martin Heritage Partners in 2004.
