Former The Apprentice contestant Thomas Skinner had a run-in with police as he joined St Albans Market’s traders.

The TV personality and businessman shared that he was in the city centre yesterday (November 15) “grafting old skool” and pitching a market tent to sell a range of products including signed copies of his new book Graft.

A few hours later he shared another video alongside a Herts Police officer. “Now when this man walked up to me earlier I thought I was getting nicked,” Mr Skinner said.

Fortunately, he was instead asked to help out and use his platform to spread knife crime awareness.

Knife amnesty in Hertfordshire as part of week of action

Saying that he “couldn’t agree more”, the TV star shared the message and let people know about the knife bins in St Peter’s Street, where they can drop off knives ‘no questions asked’.

Skinner, born in Romford, appeared on the 2019 series of The Apprentice before being ‘fired’ in week nine.

The stall was outside Tesco Express.
