All trains through Watford Junction are set to be disrupted until the end of the day, as nearby stations are being skipped.

Overhead electric wire damage at Watford Junction has blocked some of the lines this morning (December 15), meaning trains may be revised, cancelled, or delayed by up to 30 minutes.

Disruption is now expected until the end of the day, according to National Rail, which added that trains towards London Euston are currently unable to call at Hemel Hempstead, Kings Langley, or Apsley.

Update:

London Northwestern Railway train tickets will be accepted on London Overground services between Watford Junction and London Euston.

Trains towards Milton Keynes Central are calling at the normal stops.

The disruption was first reported by National Rail at 5am, when it was expected to be fixed by 8am. However, at 6am, it was confirmed that disruption was expected to last until the end of the day.
