Watford residents face a wet weekend after the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for rain.
The forecaster warned that heavy downpours will likely affect bus and train services, while spray and flooding on roads could increase journey times.
The alert is in place across most of England from 3pm Saturday, February 17, to 6pm on Sunday.
The forecaster also warned: “Flooding of a few homes and businesses is possible. Some interruption to power supplies and other services likely.”

A Met Office spokesperson said: "An area of persistent and occasionally heavy rain is expected to move from west to east across the warning area during Saturday and Sunday, falling on already saturated ground.
"Rain will clear western areas early Sunday, whilst rate of clearance from east and southeast England is open to some uncertainty, but all areas should become dry by evening."
Watford will see showers from 6pm onwards on Saturday, with the heaviest rain overnight and into early the next day.
Residents have been warned to check if their properties could be at risk of flooding and, if so, consider preparing an emergency flood kit.
The Met Office also urged people to check road conditions before driving and amend travel plans if necessary.
