A man has admitted growing cannabis in South Oxhey after over 160 plants were discovered at a “large-scale” factory.

Endrit Pepkolaj, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to producing the class B drug at St Albans Crown Court yesterday (March 6), after police raided an address in Gosforth Lane.

Police officers forced their way into the building after receiving reports of "tell tale signs" of a cannabis farm, such as suspicious activity and a strong smell emanating from the property.

Speaking after Pepkolaj's arrest, Three Rivers detective Sergeant Stuart Keene said the "great result" showed how useful information from the community was in stopping drug crime in the area. Watford Observer: A man has been arrested, and enquiries are ongoing.A man has been arrested, and enquiries are ongoing.
