All trains on a Watford line have been cancelled this morning after wire damage.
At around 6.51am (March 28) National Rail confirmed that buses were replacing trains on the Abbey Line between Watford Junction and St Albans Abbey.
This was initially expected to last until 9.30am but has since been pushed back until 12pm.

National Rail said: “Due to damage to the overhead electric wires between St Albans Abbey and Watford Junction, all lines are currently closed.
“As a result, train services will be cancelled.”
Rail replacement buses are being operated by Lucketts of Watford.
“Please note, your journey time will be increased when using this service,” National Rail added.

Ticket acceptance is in place on the Arriva 321 bus service and Thameslink services between St Albans and London St Pancras International.
Earlier this month, Hertfordshire County Council’s highways and transport cabinet panel was presented with data showing there had been around 741 unplanned cancellations on the line last year.
Executive member for highways and transport Cllr Phil Bibby announced that he would write “a strongly worded letter” to the Transport Minister, to “express our concerns about the service”.
