Police are directing motorists around a large tree which has come down and blocked a High Street this afternoon.
Abbots Langley High Street is currently impassable for vehicles after the tree came down, from Abbot's House next to Village Tandoori, amid a yellow warning for wind across most of England including Hertfordshire today (April 15).
No one was injured when it fell, at around 4.30pm, but it appears to have landed on a parked car.

Herts Police are currently directing motorists passing through Abbots Langley onto The Crescent, which avoids the centre of High Street, but this is still reportedly causing delays because it is a narrow road for busy two-way traffic.
The Met Office yellow warning for strong winds has been in place since 6.25am and is expected to last until 10pm.
It was predicted that it could cause disruption for journeys by road and rail today and Watford trains were disrupted earlier in the afternoon when a fallen tree blocked lines into London.
