Police are investigating after a driver was subjected to racist language and had a key pressed into his cheek.
Having investigated the racially aggravated assault since it was first reported, Herts Police have today (May 24) shared an appeal for witnesses and information.
At around 3.50pm on Wednesday, March 20, two drivers pulled over in Hagden Lane following an altercation. The victim, a man in his 40s, was subjected to racist language from a man in his 60s.

The suspect then pressed a key into the victim’s cheek, Herts Police said.
The attacker then continued to follow his victim through Vicarage Road as they both left the scene, before eventually driving off.
PC Danielle Murphy said: “We’ve been carrying out a number of enquires since the incident was reported and as part of our investigation, I would like to appeal for anyone with information to please come forward.
“I am particularly keen to talk to anyone who tried to intervene as the situation escalated.
“Did you see what happened, or have any further details to assist our investigation?"
